The Mummy star Brendan Fraser gives his honest verdict on why Tom Cruise rebooted?

Brendan Fraser has uncovered why he thinks Tom Cruise's reboot of The Mummy flopped in the box office.

The entertainer, who starred as Rick O'Connell in the immensely fruitful unique and two continuations, said Tom's film coming up short on key fixing: fun.

In a meeting with Assortment, that's what brendan conceded "making that movie is difficult".

"The fixing that we had going for our Mummy, which I didn't find in that film, was fun," he said of Tom's 2017 reboot, which disappointed pundits and crowds the same.

"That was the thing that was deficient in that incarnation.

"It was an over-the-top straight-ahead thriller. The Mummy ought to be a roller coaster, yet all at once not frightening and unnerving."

He added: "I know that it is so hard to pull it off. I attempted to do it multiple times.".

Also, Brendan didn't preclude getting back to the franchise when asked by the publication, saying: "I don't know how it would function.
